(TL;DR: Leave a comment with a number between 1 and 1,000,000 and what you want burned on your yo-yo if you win.)

Hey guys, hasn’t been super long since my last post but I figured I should write something since I’m taking a few big steps tonight. I put a lot of work into the sales page for the wooden yo-yo tonight. Which by the way was named Roots. I sent a newsletter out to my mikemonty.net subscribers to let them know about that page. I’m trying out a special promotion with them. (Sorry, if you weren’t subbed at the time then you missed it.)

What else is there… I have several people saying they are interested in picking up a yo-yo at such and such time. I think all I can do with them is stay in touch, try and get their ideas for customization, and practice their idea in anticipation of the order. That way even if the order never comes I have still worked on my technique with a fresh idea so that the learning isn’t boring.

I started posting really cool videos of the manufacturing and customization of the yo-yo’s. You can see all those on that sales page. This is the link: http://burgeonyoyos.com/shop/hand-made-wooden-fixed-axle-yo-yo/.

I will be making a ton more of the customizing yo-yo’s ones. I think those are the best. But the manufacturing ones are really cool… I just don’t have much different stuff to show for manufacturing. Oh well I have to film anyways. I like the idea that all my work is recorded and cataloged in some way to I can build off of old ideas with ease.

I guess that’s all for now, I hope you are all well! Leave a comment with a number somewhere between 1 – 1,000,000 and what you would want burned onto your own Roots. In two weeks on the 21st of April I will use Random.org to generate a number between 1 and 1,000,000. Whoever guessed the closest gets their art idea burned onto a Roots and I will ship it to them. Make sure you use your email address when you leave your comment so I’ll be able to contact you when you win!

Please keep it family friendly.

I’m looking at you, Jordan.

😉

Oh one last note, if multiple people guess the same number, then the first person who guessed the number would win. 🙂
